She Knows A Good Thing

I recently got an email from a new subscriber, who “stumbled across” the WAHM System site.

She had a few choice comments, so I thought I’d share em with you:

Hello Kevin,

I’m looking for a serious business to do at home.

It's funny that I came across your web site because I was searching for the U.S. mint. I was looking into a gift for my husband who collects coins. I never actually reached the U.S. Mint site because your site was so compelling.

I have been thinking about a home business for a long time but never came up with anything that was really profitable or real that I could make decent money doing.

I really need to do something to help my husband and be able to be here for my children at the same time. It would be nice to contribute and be there for my family at the same time.

I immediately connected to your story as I am also from a very cold place with not a lot of opportunity to make a good income.

I live in Maine. There are not a lot of good paying jobs here. I could probably get a job tomorrow make $7.00 an hour. But I would still be without health Insurance and be gone a great deal of the time as I live in a very rural area and would have to travel to get to anything which would take more time away from being there for my family.

I want to be able to go to the kids ball games, have time to put decent meals on the table every night and also make enough to make a difference in our financial situation and a secure future. My husband works very hard, usually seven days a week and we still can't afford health insurance or put any away for when we get older.

I worry all the time about what will happen to us when he can no longer keep up the pace. I could never pay the bills on my own.

My husband currently has his own construction business building houses for people.

He pays the bills but there is never enough to get ahead as he don't feel it's right to charge any more. He also is afraid that he won't get any work as there are too many work out of your truck carpenters around.

I keep telling him that he is not just a carpenter. He is very smart and can build houses through every stage. This includes from the ground work through to the finish.

Not only that but he is there to help the old lady next door on a fixed income when her faucet leaks or her furnace is acting up, or the man up the street who has fallen out of his wheelchair and needs help getting up.

He is also a volunteer first responder and fireman. He is a very kind and caring individual with a big heart. I would really like to help him.
