Rejection Sucks
My son Adam recently bought a new fishing boat, and took it out yesterday for its inaugural fishing expedition with his girlfriend Teasha.
Within 10 minutes of being on the lake, Teasha caught a really nice trout.
As you can imagine, this got the two of them pretty excited, thinking that the fish were biting like crazy, and they were going to come home with a bounty.
But…
Things didn’t quite work out that way, and when the day was finished, they came home with only one fish.
After returning home and sharing this story with me, I could totally relate.
You see – when most folks get into business for themselves, they mistakenly think that the world is going to beat a path to their door, to buy what they have to offer.
Within a short time, they discover that business doesn’t work that way.
To make matters worse, they find themselves being rejected – over, and over, and over again, which causes them to throw in the towel, and give up on all of their dreams and goals.
That’s why it’s so important that you have an automated system, to deal with the rejection for you.
Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t like rejection either.
That’s why I was so determined to find a way to remove myself from this situation.
I didn’t want to have to deal with rejection on a personal and emotional level, which is the biggest reason I wanted to automate my business in the first place.
