Why I Ditched The Glasses
Everyone on the face of this earth is in fear of something.
Maybe it’s fear of dying, fear of heights, fear of failure, fear of success – or the biggie – fear of being criticized by others.
But, in almost every case, the fear is totally unfounded.
And make no mistake about it, fear is what holds most people back from accomplishing their dreams and goals.
When I was a young-un, I constantly got teased by my classmates in school.
Because I wore glasses, the other kids would call me four-eyes.
Because my hair was usually kept short (which wasn’t in style at the time) and my ears stood out, the other kids would call me Dumbo.
Because my last name was Thompson, the other kids would call me tombstone.
As a result of all this teasing at the hand of my classmates, my self esteem was pretty low. And this lasted throughout most of my younger years.
But…
All of that changed during the summer of 1979.
Why, you ask?
Well let me tell you.
That was the summer that I made up my mind that I wasn’t going to live my life with a low self image.
During one of my regularly scheduled eye exams, I asked the doctor about the possibility of getting contact lenses, so I could ditch the glasses.
You see, it was my belief that once I ditched the glasses, my self esteem would immediately soar to new heights.
Looking back, I now realize that my low self esteem had absolutely nothing to do with the glasses.
But – in my mind, I felt that the glasses were the cause of my frustration.
And let me tell you, once I ditched those dogone glasses, I felt like a new person.
When I went back to school in the fall of 1979, to begin my 10th grade year, everyone treated me differently.
No longer did my classmates call me four-eyes, Dumbo or tombstone.
In fact, the kids who once used to tease me – now became my friends.
And that’s not the end of this little story either.
It gets even better.
I also began to date some of the most beautiful girls in the school.
Talk about a self image booster.
If you remember that move, “Can’t Buy Me Love”, you’ll immediately recognize this story.
So…
How did I make such a major transformation?
I’ll tell you right now – if you think it had anything to do with ditching the glasses – you’re partly right – but you’d be mostly wrong.
Sure, ditching the glasses helped, because that’s what triggered the drastic change in my outlook on life.
But the BIG secret is this:
I took control of my fear, and therefore, took control of my life.
It’s like I “flipped the switch”, and immediately changed how I perceived the world around me.
My new self image took charge over my old self image, and it did so in an instant.
And the truth is – anyone can do this.
Anyone can master their fears.
When it comes to making money, most people are scared of it.
Why?
Because they’ve been brought up to believe that making munee is hard.
But the truth of the matter is – it ain’t hard at all.
If you’ve been struggling, trying to make munee, trying to be successful, trying to reach your dreams and goals, but haven’t yet made much progress – the answer to your situation lies in taking control of your thoughts about munee.
Until now, you may have been taking advice from someone who isn’t already successful.
As a result, all they can offer you is theory.
They tell you to try this, and try that – and when their “theory” doesn’t work, you’re left in a state of fear, thinking that it’s hard to make munee.
Instead, you need to take advice, and work one-on-one with someone who’s already successful, and can give you a step-by-step blueprint for having the same results.
They’ll show you what to do first, what to do second, what to do third – and when you follow their guidance, you WILL get the results you desire.
If you’re ready to take control of your life, once and for all, here’s your opportunity.
