Be Different… Or Fail

A few weeks ago I was doing some research for a big project, and once again, I was amazed by what I was seeing.

I probably shouldn't have been, but I was.

The research I was doing at the time, involved finding examples of "good" munee-makin websites (and yes, the misspelling is intentional).

But let me tell you, I was having a real challenge finding some good examples to use.

When I look at most of these websites, I wonder what the owner was thinking.

It doesn't matter what category of business I look at – could be the dental industry, the real estate industry, pet grooming, diet pills, fishing gear, whatever – 99% of the sites look almost identical.

It's no wonder that NO ONE is making any munee.

You can't make munee on the internet, or anywhere else for that matter, unless you're different – unless you set yourself apart from the crowd of "me-tooers".

The simple fact that you want to be in business for yourself is no longer sufficient.

You need to have a legitimate reason for breathing air in the marketplace you intend to spend your time in.

Let me give you an example of what I'm talking about.

When it comes to the how-to-make-munee market, there's a TON of companies competing for your dollars.

I'm sure you'll agree with me on this point.

You'll also agree with the fact that 99% of these companies are "me-tooers".

Almost all of them are screaming the same thing, hoping that you'll pick the product that they're selling.

But…

About 3 years ago, a complete unknown enters this marketplace.

This individual didn't have big munee backing his company, but he did have something different to say to the marketplace.

No, he wasn't going to make you a milyunair in a week.

He wasn't offering overnight success.

He wasn't conforming to ANY of the hype.

No siree.

This individual came from out of nowhere, with an entirely different message, which was this…

For the last several years, my website has been putting $7,000.00 to $10,000.00 a month into my bank account, and I can show you how to have a website that does the same.

WOW.

Imagine that.

Someone who actually does what they teach.

Now that's a novelty.

And - In case you haven't figured it out yet, the person I'm referring to is myself.

So here's the big question:

What makes your product or service different from all of your competitors?

In this day and age, we don't need anymore "me-tooers". We need people who have something different.

But here's the BIG secret.

You don't need a different product – you simply need a different way of presenting it.
