The 4-Letter Word
When it comes to business and making munee, your success will depend on one 4-letter word.
And that word is…
M-A-T-H.
You see, most entrepreneurs don't have a clue that the success (or failure) of their business all comes down to one thing, which is MATH.
In order to know the math of your business, you've got to track the results of your advertising, and you've got track them like a hawk.
Fortunately, in this day and age, technology makes it REALLY easy to accomplish.
With that said, let me explain what I'm talking about.
Not to long ago, I did a consultation with a client who was involved in a multilevel business, and her upline had been telling her to buy leads in order to promote her business.
Figuring that her upline knew what they were talking about, she did as they suggested.
A few weeks later, when she wasn't getting any results with this method, she contacted her upline for further guidance.
Their advice to her – buy more leads.
SAY WHAT?
I'm sorry, but if what you're currently doing to promote your business isn't working, you sure as heck don't keep doing it.
In my business, I advertise in many different places, and I require that EVERY one of my ads produce a positive return on investment for me.
If an ad doesn't perform – I give it the axe.
Let me share some of the math from my business.
I typically get a 25% response when visitors come to one of my websites.
That means that for every 4 visitors, I get 1 new subscriber.
Then…
I typically need 80-100 subscribers in order to make a sale of my $794 product.
So – that being said, let's do the MATH.
If I run an ad (online or offline), and it costs me one dollar to get a visitor to my website, here's how the numbers work.
Let's say I'm able to get 400 visitors to my site (at $1 each).
That means I just spent $400.
At a 25% response rate, 100 of these visitors will give me their contact information and become subscribers.
That means that it cost me $4 to get a subscriber ($400 divided by 100 equals $4)
As I mentioned, it takes about 100 subscribers for me to make 1 sale of my $794 product.
Looking at the MATH, I can see that I'm profitable.
It cost me $400 to make a $794 sale – which means that I have a net profit of $394.
In addition, I also have 100 subscribers, and though they haven't bought anything from me yet, I'll continue to stay in touch with them, and many of them will decide to buy from me later.
This is called "back-end profits".
Now…
Let's take a look at the MATH one more time.
Looking at these numbers, I know that I can afford to invest up to $2 in order to get a visitor to my website.
I wouldn't make any munee on the front end, but would be okay, because many of these folks will buy from me later.
Whenever I look at advertising possibilities, I make note of the MATH, and as long as it costs me less than $2 per visitor, I KNOW I'll make munee.
As you can see, knowing your MATH removes all the guesswork (and stress) from your business.
It's almost lie having your own slot machine.
So let me ask you…
If you had a slot machine, and every time you put a dollar in, you got 2 dollars back out, how many dollars would you put in the slot machine?
That's right – you'd put in as MANY dollars as you could.
All you gotta do now is get you one of these slot machines, which is what I'll be showing you how to do in January when I launch my brand new "Insider's Roadmap To Information Marketing" product.
I'll be in touch and keep you updated.
Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson
