Talk About Insane
The other day I was hired to do a private consultation with the CEO of a rather large company in my local area, and during the course of our time together, the guy makes an absolutely insane statement.
We were talking about the internet when he says, "The internet doesn't work for our business anymore - ever since the dot com bust several years back".
That's when the source of his marketing challenges became crystal clear to me.
The reason this company's suffering is due to the mindset of upper management, that's no doubt rolling downhill and contaminating all the employees as well.
Saying that the internet doesn't work for business is like saying that high gas prices will stop people from traveling.
It's insane statement.
What's more insane is the fact that this particular CEO hires me (an internet marketing expert), and then has the gall to tell me that the internet doesn't work.
If that's what he believes, then why waste the company's moolah – trying to get me to change his mind.
And when you think about it – that's exactly what he did.
The fact is, more bucks are being made on the internet today than EVER before.
The dot com fallout got rid of all the big dumb companies and cleared the way for smart marketers like us to do our thing.
Granted – I will agree that most people don't have a clue how to use this marketing medium (the internet), but those of us who do are experiencing a business BOOM.
But – you've got to understand that the internet is NOT a business.
It's simply a marketing medium that gives you the uncanny ability to automate 99.9% of your day-to-day business activities.
Which is what attracted me to it in the first place.
The fact that I'm able to automate such a HUGE portion of my business activities gives me the opportunity to spend my time doing what I enjoy most – which is spending time with my clients - showing them how to make more cashola than they ever thought possible.
In fact, as of late I've been hosting the "Insider's Roadmap to Information Marketing" training series, with a select group of clients, and showing them how to have a business that pays them for doing something they love so much – that they wouldn't mind doing it for FREE-ola.
Needless to say, I'm getting great satisfaction from sharing my knowledge with them, and their lives are being transformed as a result.
Many of you have requested that I give you advance notification when the "Insider's Roadmap" product is finished, and I've added you to the list as requested.
