Why I Miss My Wife

Last Friday my wife Lisa left for a 9-day Mexican cruise, and I’ve got to say, I sure am missing her right now.

And it’s only Monday.

You see, I’m the one who’s usually leaving home, to attend seminars and the coaching groups that I belong to.

And…

Because I’m so busy while attending these events, it seems like the time just flies by, and before I know it, I’m right back home with my family.

But let me tell you, this whole experience, (me being home, while my wife is the one who’s gone), has caused me to have a lot more compassion for Lisa.

Now I know what she goes through when I’m out of town.

Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not like things are that bad here at the Thompson household, just because my wife isn’t here.

The kids and I are getting along just fine, but we’re already talking about how great it’s going to be when mom comes back home next Sunday.

Fortunately I’ve got a lot going on this week, which will help make the time seem to go by much faster.

On Wednesday, I’m hosting one of the biggest events of my home business career, and here’s the best part:

15 of you are going to get a copy of my brand new home study course “The Thompson Twist Shortcut To Affiliate Riches”, and you’re going to get it on the house.

Yes, you heard me right.

You get it for FREE-ola!

I’ll be giving you all the details on Wednesday night’s call.

We’re gonna have a lot of fun, that’s for sure.

How to find the best munee-making affiliate programs - and steer clear of the dogs
How to crush all of your competition... even if they're selling the same product that you're selling
The secret of "recurring affiliate commissions" -- and how 1 or 2 of these can set you up for life

And much, much more.

Yes, There’s Many Typoz

In the past, I’ve rece9ived emails from subscribers, asking about all the typos on my website and in my email communications with you.

They wanted to know if they were intentional, or if I was just a really bad speller.

Well, it’s a little of both.

Most of the time, I don’t intentionally include typos when I write.

Truth is, I do all of my writing in Word, and though I try to proofread everything, I’m only human, and yes, I do make a few typos.

In fact, I had a major one in the last issue of the monthly “Look Over My Shoulder Newsletter” (that goes out to all of my clients), and it was REALLY embarrassing.

So, rather than let it go, I thought it best to announce the embarrassing mistake in advance, and have a little contest, by offering a valuable gift to the first client who spotted it.

And yes, everyone had enjoyed the contest, and got a good laugh.

When I sit down, and prepare to write to you, many times I’m extremely excited about what I have to share.

My fingers are typing at a very high rate of speed, which obviously creates the possibility for more typos.

Sometimes, I include typos on purpose, such as my use of words like munee and cashola.

In this instance, I’m making typos intentionally.

If you think you know why, let me know by posting your comments to this blog by clicking on the "Comments" link below.

But…

All of this just goes to prove one thing:

You ain’t gotta be all that smart to make major cahola in business.

And for that, I’m very thankful.

Don’t think for a second that I’m anything special, cause I’m not.

I’ve just got a system that’s been tested and proven to work, and now, I’m here to share it with as many folks as I can.

Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson

P.S. If you haven’t yet claimed your spot for the upcoming “Thompson Twist” event, be sure to do so ASAP by Going Here.

Your #1 Goal

When it comes to setting and achieving goals, most methods you’ve heard about are not very productive.

Over the years, I’ve read countless books on the subject.

And every book seems to offer different advice for achieving your goals.

The authors tell you to write 1-year, 5-year and 10-year goals.

Some tell you to keep a copy of your goals with you at all times, so you can refer to them often.

Some tell you to write your goals on paper, and then hide them away. Supposedly you’ll be able to revisit these goals at a later date (say 6-12 months down the road), and find that you’ve accomplished many of the goals on your list.

As for me…

I’ve tried all these methods, and while some of them worked to an extent, I’ve discovered a method that works much better.

But, before I go on, I need to tell you one thing.

I can’t take personal credit for the discovery I’m about to share with you.

My good friend - and mentor, Matt Furey is the man who shared this concept with me, and let me tell you, it works like crazy.

You still want to set long range goals, but I suggest not going much more than a year out.

After all, who knows what you’ll be doing in 5, 10 or 15 years from now.

If you want to experience REAL growth in your business and personal life, the secret is to set 1 goal for each day.

1 goal that will take you closer to where you want to be in life.

Here’s how I accomplish this:

Each night, before I go to bed, I simply ask myself, “What’s the one thing I can do tomorrow that will have the biggest financial impact for myself and my family?”

In many cases, when I ask myself this question, and answer immediately comes to mind.

Other times, I need to sleep on it.

But…

When I wake in the morning, I’ve got my answer.

The answer could be a number of things, such as:

Writing a letter to my subscribers.

Making a phone call to set up a joint venture relationship.

Brainstorm a new product idea.

Whatever I come up with – this now becomes my #1 goal for the day.

I’ll typically get to work on the task immediately, because once it completed, it sets the stage for the rest of the day.

You see…

When you’ve only got one major goal to accomplish each day, and you get it done during the first part of your day, it gives you a HUGE sense of accomplishment.

And let me tell you, after a month of following this regimen, you’ll look back on what you’ve accomplished, and be very excited to achieve more of your goals.

Imagine what it will be like in a year from now.

Imagine where you’ll be, and what you’ll be doing.

Imagine the sense of accomplishment you’ll feel.

By taking baby steps, and accomplishing these small daily goals, the results in your business and personal life will be incredible.

Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson

The Thompson Twist

I’ve got great news that requires your immediate attention!

After repeated requests to reveal my affiliate marketing secrets (which have become affectionately known as "The Thompson Twist"), I'm finally going to let the cat out of the bag.

I realize that many of you want to get started with a profitable home business of your own, but you don’t want to develop a product of your own.

For obvious reasons, affiliate marketing seems like the best way to go, but when you search the internet, all you find is the usual “affiliate hype” where the self-serving promoter offers you nothing but bogus information, in a lame attempt to get you to sign up for their program, so you’ll sell their products.

With that said, let me give you the first piece of great news:

I DON'T have a single affiliate product that I want you to sell for me.

And...

Here's the second piece of great news:

I've spent the last several years, in-the-trenches - actually using these strategies.

And yes... I DO have the tested and proven secrets to banking tons of cashola as an affiliate marketer.

In fact... if you've been a subscriber for any period of time (or you're one of my clients), you've probably bought one of my affiliate products.

And now, for the first time ever, I'm going to reveal the “No B.S.” truth about making munee as an affiliate marketer.

As usual, there's no charge for this event, but you do need to register in order to join us, by Going Here.

As soon as you've registered, I’ll give you the private phone number and pass code, as well as the course handouts I've prepared for you.

This event is happening on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 8:00pm Eastern Time (5PM PT, 6PM MT, 7PM CT).

So…

As you can see, time is of the essence.

Get registered right now, by Going Here.

Oh, and by the way:

I’m not even asking for your full contact information in order to join us for this event.

All you need to do is enter your name and email (which I already have anyways).

This simply allows me to keep track of the number of registrants, so I know when to close this offering.

Here’s just a few of the strategies we’ll discuss...

1. The 5 critical mistakes that "wanna-be" affiliate marketers ALWAYS make... and how to avoid them

2. How to find the best munee-making affiliate programs - and steer clear of the dogs

3. How to crush all of your competition... even if they're selling the same product that you're selling

4. The secret of "recurring affiliate commissions" -- and how 1 or 2 of these can set you up for life

5. And much, much more.

Claim your spot right now by Going Here.

This is a one-time event, and I will NOT be repeating it.

If you’ve ever wanted to get the inside affiliate marketing secrets from someone who’s been there and done that, and continues to do it on a regular basis, this is your chance.

So don’t miss the boat.

Keep It Comin’

Last week I received an email from Ken, who hails from Chicago.

He brings up an interesting point, so let me share his comments, then I’ll offer a few of my own.

Kevin

Just thought I would let you know I appreciate the emails you send out. I have my own small remodeling business in the Chicago area.

Because our area is so large, the business is extremely competitive and I am always looking for marketing ideas.

With a large family, and a daughter going into college, sometimes it is hard to find the funds necessary for advertising and marketing the way I would like.

You have given me some ideas for marketing and I appreciate that. Please continue the emails.

Thanks Again

Ken Juris

Hi Ken,

I’m glad to hear that you’re finding my emails so valuable.

As you probably noticed, I recently went to a once-a-day format, and it’s a move that proved itself right.

I’ve been receiving countless letters like yours, telling me to keep it comin’.

So, that’s exactly what I’m going to do.

Your remodeling business is very similar to the business I used to own, which was a cleaning and restoration company.

Both are considered “home services”.

That being said, let me share a huge discovery I made that will prove incredibly valuable for you.

Before I knew any better, I used to consider marketing a cost.

But…

Once I figured out what I was doing, I found out that marketing is not a cost, but rather an investment, and when done correctly, will bring you huge returns on the cashola that you put in.

Here’s the secret to making it happen.

Use your marketing (advertising) to set your business apart from the competition.

If you were to pick up your local phone book and thumb through the Yellow Pages, you’ll see that every home remodeling company is saying pretty much the same thing.

And let me tell you, this applies to ANY business.

Consider what I do, which is show people how to make munee in a home business of their own.

I’ve got tons of competition, and they too are all saying the same thing.

If you do a quick Google search for home business, you’ll see what I‘m talking about.

All of my competitors are screaming “pick me, pick me, I’m the best”.

So what do I do - to set myself apart?

I run an ad that says something like this:

“Don’t look at any home business opportunity until you get your hands on this report that helps you determine if you’ve even got what it takes to succeed”.

As you can imagine, my ad gets noticed.

Why?

Well, there’s two reasons:

1. I’m the only one who’s saying something different.

2. I put out a challenge, and suggest that the reader may not even qualify to get started.

As you can imagine, my ads get results.

In fact, they get BIG results.

So…

Take a look at what your competition is doing, then figure out a way to set yourself apart.

A little bit of thought will have your mind swimming with great ideas.

Kevin Thompson

Slight Edge… Big Profits

When you look at someone who’s successful, most folks think that person was lucky, more talented or smarter than the “average Joe”.

In other words, we think that a successful person was born with a “gift” that the rest of us don’t have, and can never get.

But, this ain’t true at all.

The reality is that most successful people are less talented and they certainly have less in the “smarts” department.

Here’s what they do have:

They have what’s called, the “slight edge”.

How do I know?

Because I’m living proof of this fact.

Successful people are continually looking for small improvements that will give them a slight edge over their competition.

Let me give you a personal example.

When it come to marketing my business, I continually use a process called “split-testing”.

When I run an ad, I create two versions of that ad.

By doing so, I’m able to pit one ad against the other, and guess what.

I always have a winner – every time.

So…

In order to get the slight edge over all of my competitors, I keep the best performing ad (which is called the control), and I tweak the lower performing ad, in an attempt to beat the control.

As you can imagine, after a few months of playing this “better my best” game, I’ve got a slight edge over my competition.

Truth is, I’ve got more than a slight edge.

Most of my competitors don’t have a clue how to use this strategy, and let me tell you, that’s just fine by me.

Because I use it (and they don’t), this translates into massive success for my business.

So, forget all that nonsense about successful people being lucky, talented or smarter – cause it just ain’t true.

All we do is run our businesses on the principle of the slight edge.

When you do the same, your success will be in the bag.

Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson

Cat In A Tree, And Me

On the Tuesday before Christmas our beloved cat Alex, had escaped the house and was missing for several hours.

As you can imagine, my wife and two daughters were really upset about this, and insisted that I head out and find our pet.

If you recall from my previous emails, I told you how bad the weather had been around here during the month of December, and how we’d been deluged with snow, as well as dealing with widespread power outages that went on for weeks.

So let me tell you…

This was no walk in the park.

At about 6:00 in the evening, I headed out into the dark, cold and snowy weather to look for our cat.

Uh-oh… this is starting to sound like one of those stories your grandpa would tell you, about how he walked for miles, up hill both ways in the snow, in order to get to school and back home every day.

But, I do need to set the scene for you.

Long story short – the weather was miserable.

So hear I am, out there looking for the cat.

And let me tell you, I’m giving it my best effort.

6;30, 7:00, 7:30, 8:00.

After two hours of searching, I finally came back home empty handed, and needless to say, the girls were not impressed.

Lisa tells me, “Kevin, you’ve got to go back out there and bring Alex home”.

So what do I do?

Once again, I head back out to search for the cat.

Only this time I do something a little different.

I spend just a moment, thinking about what it’s going to be like when I find Alex, and how happy the girls are going to be when I walk in the front door of our home, with cat in hand.

I then began calling for the cat, and in the darkness, I hear this faint meow.

I ran back into the house and exclaim, “I think I found the cat, and I need a flashlight”.

After finding the flashlight, I race back outside to locate the cat, only this time, my wife Lisa and my two daughters are following right behind.

I begin calling for the cat again, and sure enough, he’s answering me.

As it turns out, he must’ve got spooked by some other animal, and now, here he sat, about 30 feet up this huge pine tree in our back yard.

We spent an hour or so, trying to coax him down, but he was just too scared.

I decided that we needed professional help, so I go back into the house and call the fire department.

After all, you always hear stories about firemen rescuing cats from trees.

I get the dispatcher on the phone, only to find that they no longer offer this value added service.

She informs me that I need to call a tree service, so that’s what I do.

Only problem is, he can’t get there until the morning, and Alex would have to stay the night in the tree.

The tree guy shows up bright and early at 7 am.

He immediately went to work preparing his gear. Within a few minutes he was climbing the tree, and as soon as he got close, Alex came right to him.

He then rappelled down the tree and handed me our cold and wet, yet grateful cat.

27 minutes- and $250.00 later, he was gone, and Alex was reunited with his family.

I tell you this story to make a simple point.

Some people would think that $250 bucks is a lot of money to pay this guy for just a few minutes of his time.

And truth is, there was a time in my life when I would’ve thought so too.

But, this story isn’t about the $250.00.

It’s about getting what I wanted, which was to have the cat back home with us, and my wife and daughters happy again.

And for that, there is no price that’s too high.

It reminds me of when I first made the decision that I was going to succeed in my own business, no matter what it took.

Sure, I had to invest a considerable amount of money to make it happen.

And at the time, a lot of my friends gave me grief for spending so much money on manuals, courses, audio series and attending seminars.

But…

Guess who’s having the last laugh now.

My income now over shadow’s that of ALL my friends, and at this point, they’re thinking that I’m one pretty smart cookie.

I can honestly say that the best investment I’ve ever made, was in my own education.

That’s why I continue to do so - on a regular basis.

And yes, the best investment you’ll ever make is in YOUR own education.

You’re already on the right track, and if you stick around for awhile, you too will get the results you want.

Many of you have asked for a way to get my personal one-on-one assistance, and in case you didn’t know, I now offer it for a ridiculously low investment.

And truth is, I’ll probably be increasing the price very soon.

They’ll Climb Mountains… For You!

Last weekend, my oldest son Jerry and his girlfriend Alicia took a 14-hour road trip, so he could buy a Toyota pick-up truck.

Now granted…

He didn’t have to travel that far in order to buy a truck.

Truth is, he could have easily found one locally.

But, it wouldn’t have been the truck he wanted.

Because Jerry knew precisely what he wanted, he was more than willing to go to great lengths to get it.

That meant leaving our home last Friday night (after a full day at work), dealing with rush hour traffic through Seattle, driving all the way to central Oregon and paying for a night’s hotel stay.

All in an effort to get what he wanted.

And lest you think this is an extreme example – think again.

People do this all the time.

They’ll climb over mountains, and even crawl across broken glass in order to buy what they want.

You’d be sadly mistaken to think they wouldn’t.

When you position your products and services correctly, you’ll have people beating down your door, clamoring to give you their munee.

The secret to making it happen, is great marketing.

When you’ve got great marketing, you can sell sand in the desert… on a 135 degree day.

And…

When you’ve got a great marketing “system”, you can do it automatically.

In fact, next week I’ll be making a very special announcement, and you’ll want to keep a close eye out for it.

It’ll say, “The Thompson Twist” in the subject line of the email.

This email will give you explicit instructions, and show you can have people climbing mountains, and crawling across broken glass – to spend major cashola… with YOU!

So be sure to watch for it.

The Valentine’s Day Secret

Because today is Valentine’s, I wanted to make a real lasting impression on my wife Lisa.

If you want to do the same for your friend, lover, sweetheart or spouse, I’ll tell you how to make it happen.

As you know, today - most folks will opt for buying flowers and chocolates, or taking that special someone out to dinner.

I used to do this too, but after my experience last year, I won’t ever do so again.

Here’s why.

Last year, my plan was to take Lisa out for a nice, romantic Valentine’s dinner.

Unfortunately, that’s not what happened.

In fact, the restaurant was completely crowded, which made the whole experience – anything but romantic.

So…

This year, I vowed to do something different.

Something that would make a lasting impression on Lisa.

Something that would touch her heart, like nothing else.

Something that she would not soon forget.

Here’s what I did:

I wrote a letter, telling her about all the things I admire about her.

As I did so, my mind went back to when we first met. It also recalled many of the experiences we’ve shared since we’ve known each other.

This created some intensely vivid images in my mind, to the point where I was actually reliving each of these experiences as I sat here at my desk, writing the letter.

And let me tell you, some of these mental images were getting my pretty excited.

Alright, that’s enough the details, but I’m sure you get the picture.

I simply transferred my thoughts to paper.

And here’s where this story gets really good.

I gave my letter to Lisa this morning, and watched in anticipation as she read it.

By the time she finished, tears were steaming down her face.

It was quite obvious that I got the response I wanted.

And…

In case you’re wondering, yes, Lisa agreed, that this was the best Valentine’s Day gift she’d EVER received.

Incidentally, I did give her a small piece of jewelry as well.

But let me tell you, the jewelry was not nearly as valuable in Lisa’s mind as the letter.

And now, what do you think she’s going to think about every time she touches that piece of jewelry?

Yep, you guessed it.

The Letter!

She’s going to think about the letter I gave her, and every time she does, her heart will be touched on a deep and emotional level once again.

How’s that for a great Valentine’s gift.

Alright then, get to it.

You’ve still got time to make this happen for yourself, and rest assured, this letter is going to have a profound impact on your relationship with your friend, lover, sweetheart or spouse.

Incidentally, if you want to discover how you can apply this concept to your business as well, I’ll show you how on my next Seminar-By-Phone. To join us, Click Here now.

Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson

P.S. If you’re curious, yes, I’ll be taking Lisa out for a “real” romantic dinner this weekend, and we’ll avoid the Valentine’s Day mob.

No High Pressure BS

Yesterday we discussed the importance of reaching out to your prospects and clients.

And when you do, they’ll be happy to buy what you’re offering, but more importantly, they’ll be willing to buy your products… even if your competitor is offering the identical item at a lower price.

Today, I’ve got another BIG secret to share with you.

When most people get into home business, they’re constantly asking themselves, “How can I sell more of my product or service?”

As a result, they come across as a salesperson.

And this is NOT good.

Not good at all.

If you’re like me, you hate to be “sold”.

Now don’t get me wrong, we love to buy, be we hate to be “sold”.

What if you had a crystal ball that you could look into whenever you wanted, and it would tell you what people wanted to buy?

Wouldn’t that be powerful?

If you knew what people wanted to buy, all you’d have to do is give them what they already wanted.

The good news is…

There is in fact a crystal ball, and you can look into it whenever you desire.

In fact, this is just one of the strategies I reveal on my Seminar-By-Phone.

I discovered this crystal ball almost 7 years ago, and since that time, I’ve put hundreds of thousands of deenero into my bank account.

Because I know what people “already want”, I never have to sell my products and services.

I simply present them in a way that gives people what they “already want”, and people come flocking to me, with cashola in hand.

Those of you who’ve already invested in my products and services can attest to the fact that you NEVER felt like you were being “sold”.

No siree!

I simply gave you what you wanted, and as a result, you chose to invest in the products I was offering.

Here’s an example:

When someone comes to my GetMoldSolutions.com website, they arrived there at the precise moment in time when they were looking for what I had to offer.

They feel as if they “found” me.

And because they found me, precisely when they were looking for what I had to offer, they don’t feel like they’re being “sold”.

I simply provide them with valuable information that will help them solve their mold problem, and then… I give them a buying opportunity.

It’s that simple.

So… if you don’t consider yourself a salesperson, that’s good.

To succeed in home business, you don’t want to be a salesperson.

Instead, you want to be an advocate, who acts on your prospects behalf.

Once people know that you truly care about them, and you can help solve their problems, they’ll be happy to give you their munee.

And here’s the best part:

You can automate this entire process so that it takes less than 6 hours of your time each month.

To help you get started, I’ve put together a special $797.00 gift package.

To claim yours, Go Here now.

Then… watch your mailbox for the BIG Priority Mail Envelope.

You Gotta Reach Out

In 1999 I discovered a little known secret, and it’s put thousands and thousands of dollars into my bank account since.

I was attending a seminar in Phoenix, Arizona, and one of the speakers shared a very interesting statistic.

He told us that 85% of the population makes buying decisions on two criteria:

1. They buy from someone they already know

2. They buy on a trusted friend or family member’s referral

Once I discovered this little secret, I was able to transform my business into one of the most successful, by-referral-only cleaning and restoration companies in Washington State.

How?

By doing two simple things:

1. I stayed in touch with my clients on a regular basis.

2. I stayed in touch with my prospects on a regular basis.

And like I said, these simple two strategies have made me a fortune.

You see…

As consumers, we love to buy, but we hate to be “sold”.

There’s a HUGE difference between buying something you want (or something that will improve your life), and feeling like you were “sold”.

We’ve all been in a position where we felt like we were being “sold”, and it’s a terrible feeling, isn’t it.

When you register for my Seminar-By-Phone I explain this concept in much greater detail.

But…

One of the biggest secrets in home business is staying in touch with your prospects on a regular basis, and when you do, you give them a buying opportunity (without using any high pressure sales tactics).

By doing so, it allows them to get to know you.

And once they know you, an amazing thing happens.

They start to like you, and more importantly, if they want what you have to offer (which is another business secret - that I’ll reveal tomorrow), they’ll buy from you.

People buy from people they like – they don’t buy from people they don’t like.

And here’s the best part:

With today’s technology, it’s really fast, easy, and inexpensive to reach out and stay in touch with your prospects on a regular basis.

With that said, let me give you a great example.

On my GetMoldSolutions.com website, I offer a HEPA Vacuum for sale.

When people do an internet search for the particular model I offer, they can easily find someone else offering it for a cheaper price.

But, even in spite of this, my prospects are willing to spend more money so they can buy the vacuum from me.

Now why would they do that?

Let me explain.

I got a recent email from one of my subscribers, telling me that they’d done a little bit of research online and had found the same vacuum for a cheaper price somewhere else.

Yet they still bought from me, and paid the extra bucks.

They explained that their decision to buy from me was based on the fact that I’d been the one who was staying in touch with them on a regular basis, and helping them through their mold problem.

Now…

In case you missed the lesson in all of this, not everyone buys, based on price alone.

If they did, we’d all be driving Yugo’s.

This example proves that people buy from people they like, and more importantly, they’re even willing to spend more money (for an identical product), so they can buy from someone they like.

So…

Start staying in touch with your prospects on a regular basis, and watch your profits soar.

Oh, and one more thing.

This strategy is even more important when it comes to your previous buyers.

It’s even easier to get a happy buyer to buy again.

All you have to do is reach out and make contact.

Kevin Thompson

Burnt In A House Fire

The other day, Lisa and I took our 13-year old daughter Kaitlynn to Children’s Hospital in Seattle.

We make this trip every 4 months, and each time, we make a day of it (what with the traffic and all, we pretty much have to).

You see…

Kate has Juvenile Arthritis, and in order to manage it, we need to take special precautions, which include regular trips to Seattle so the doctors can keep an eye on her.

Managing her condition also includes more enjoyable things, such as Kate being in dance three times a week, going swimming as well as horseback riding.

Going to Children’s Hospital is always an eye-opening experience, and sometimes it’s a real tear jerker for me (yes, even a big guy like myself has been known to cry on occasion).

The hospital specializes in helping children, many of whom have life threatening, or terminal conditions.

And let me tell you, they do an incredible job of catering to these kids, and giving them hope.

But what’s even more amazing is how I’ve watched Kaitlynn grow, as a direct result of our regular trips to Children’s Hospital.

She doesn’t feel sorry for herself, or her condition.

Not in the slightest.

In fact, she regularly talks about how fortunate she is.

And now…

Each time we go to the hospital, Kate insists on spending some time so she can visit with some of the other kids.

The other day, she was talking with a young girl who had been badly burned in a house fire, and was now going through extensive painful surgeries.

As you can imagine, this little girl was not in the best of spirits.

As Kate sat talking with her, and I stood listening to their conversation, it brought me to tears.

I overheard as the young girl told Kate, “My parents can’t afford all this”.

To which Kate replied, “You don’t need to worry about that right now. You just need to concentrate on getting better so you can get out of here and be back home with your family. Besides, they’ve got programs to help with your medical expenses”.

Wow!

Talk about a profound statement.

And in that instant, the girls’ demeanor completely changed.

Kate went on to tell the girl that more than anything, the power of her own mind would determine the outcome of her situation.

As you can imagine, I was one PROUD parent as I listened to the words that were coming from my daughter.

After using “mind power” to achieve incredible results in my own life, I’d been teaching Kate this concept for the last few months.

And to hear her now sharing it to someone else - was an experience I’ll never forget.

Most people spend too much time concentrating on what they don’t want, rather than what they DO want.

But…

When you open your mind to all of the possibilities available to you, and picture the desired outcome, seeing what your life will be like when you have it – you will have cracked the code to attracting anything you want from life.

Makes no difference whether your desire is more munee, better health, better relationships, more business, more time off, a nicer home, a nicer vehicle or anything else.

You can have it all!

Think about what you want right now, then imagine yourself already having it.

How does it feel?

Feels great, doesn’t it.

You’ve just put your subconscious mind to work, and it’s now going to come up with the answers you need to get the things you want.

And when you do, I look forward to speaking with you.

Fear This… Or Not

When you see someone who’s not moving forward and making progress in business, it’s usually a result of fear.

And yes, fear is much more common than you’d think.

It wasn’t that many years ago when I too used to let fear stand in the way of my progress, and my success.

I’d actually wake up in the middle of the night, worrying about the lack of munee, how I was going to pay my bills, what people thought of me, and many other issues.

In my mind, the fear was so real, that when I’d wake out of a dead sleep, I’d lie awake worrying for hours.

I just lay there thinking about what “might happen”.

As you’ve probably noticed (from the photos on the website), I’m not the most fit guy on the planet.

Truth is, I’m more than a few pounds over weight.

And I used to spend a lot of time, fearing what other people thought of me.

But here’s what I discovered:

Most folks are far too busy with their own lives to even give a second’s thought to me, what I look like or the fact that I’m a little over weight.

In fact, as I think back on it, no one’s ever said, “Dang Kevin, you sure are overweight”.

Nobody even cares!

And when it came to my late night financial worries (that used to keep me up till all hours of the morning), they were completely unfounded.

I spent far too much time worrying about things that would never happen.

At one point, when I was still trying to figure out how to turn a profit in my first business, I had a conversation with one of my mentors.

And let me tell you, it was one I’ll never forget!

I was telling him about my munee problems, and how I was about $29,000.00 in debt at the time, yet I still wasn’t making a profit in my business.

To this day, his response is so vivid in my mind.

I was expecting a little bit of sympathy, but that’s not what I got.

He looked me square in the eye and said, “So what!”

And it didn’t end there either.

He went on to say, “Who cares if you’re a little bit in debt. There’s many folks who’ve gone on before you - who became HUGELY successful, and yes, they too incurred some debt along the way.

You need to be thankful for the opportunity to fund your business education on someone else’s dime.

You also need to stop concentrating on what you don’t want, and start concentrating on what you DO want”.

Wow, talk about an earful.

But…

From that moment forward, I began following his advice.

And guess what…

The sleepless nights disappeared.

Gone, just like that, in an instant.

Throughout this process, I discovered that when you make your desire for improvement, stronger than your fears, nothing can stand in your way.

Skeptical? – You Should Be

I can’t remember the last time I was this angry.

Last week I hired a company to clean the carpets in our home.

And let me tell you…

It was a nightmare!

For starters, they showed up almost 5 hours late for the appointment, without even bothering to give us a courtesy call.

To make matters worse, the carpets were wet for two days, and when they finally did dry, they looked worse than before I hired these jokers.

Needless to say, this company won’t be getting any repeat business from me, and I sure as heck won’t recommend them to my neighbor, who was also ready to hire a carpet cleaning company for his own home.

This whole incident reminds me of when I used to have my own cleaning and restoration company.

We offered a premium service, and as a result, we were able to charge premium prices.

And let me tell you, our clients loved us.

Why?

Because they always got more than their monies worth.

In addition to a great cleaning job, they also got several “Unadvertised Bonuses” that they weren’t expecting.

As a result, these clients continued to use our services on a regular basis, and they also referred our company to their friend’s family and neighbors.

From my first day in business (back in 1996), I’ve always subscribed to the belief that you need to give people more than they expected.

And when you do, you’ll create raving fans for your business.

For example:

When someone invests in the Automatic Income System (http://www.HomeBusinessShortcut.com/ais.html), I always pile on a stack of “Unadvertised Bonuses” that they weren’t expecting.

I’m sure you can imagine the goodwill this creates.

You see…

When it comes to home business, there are plenty of “so called experts” who don’t have a clue what they’re talking about.

And many of them are nothing but rip-offs.

As a result, it causes people to be skeptical – and rightly so.

That’s why I offer a no-lose 365-Day Trial.

But that’s not all I do.

I also realize that once someone invests in the system, most would tend to think that would be the end of the relationship.

But the truth is, it’s only the beginning.

I continue to give my clients more than they ever expected, which includes plenty of ongoing support, as well as many unadvertised bonuses.

And yep, you guessed it, they’re pleasantly shocked.

So…

If you want to get plenty of repeat buyers and referrals for your business, be sure to give your clients more than they expected.

Super Bowl… or Super Bore

On Sunday, we had a houseful of friends over to watch the Super Bowl.

My wife Lisa isn’t much into football, but like most folks, she looks forward to seeing all the commercials.

Only problem is…

This year, most of the commercials were terrible.

And what amazes me most is the fact that these big dumb companies will spend millions of dollars to produce and air these commercials, yet they won’t sell a thing.

This is NOT a strategy that you want to imitate.

As a small business owner, our number one goal is to make a profit. We can’t afford to waste funds on ridiculous advertising methods that won’t give us a substantial return on investment.

Granted, most small business owners don’t understand this concept. That’s why they view advertising as an expense.

But…

When done correctly, advertising is NOT an expense at all, it’s an investment.

It’s an investment that will bring you huge returns.

And the #1 key to effective advertising is:

Don’t Bore Your Prospect.

You can’t bore anybody into buying anything.

Your advertising must compel your prospect to take the action you want.

This is done by setting yourself apart from the crowd, and making your ad stand out.

When a prospect sees it, they immediately think to themselves, “Hey, this sure is different. I wonder what this is all about”.

And of course, the only way they can find out, is by taking the next step, so they can get additional information.

Most home business owners never get this, which is why they’re constantly struggling, trying to eek out a living.

This strategy is called “lead generation”, and it’s one of the most profitable home business marketing strategies on the planet.

In fact, it so powerful, that I’ll be explaining this concept in much more detail on the upcoming Seminar-By-Phone.

But…

Rather than simply give you the web page where you can register to join us for this event, I’ve got something much bigger to tell you about.

I’ve just launched a brand new resource called the Home Business Shortcut.
