A Changed Man…
A couple weekends ago Lisa and I got together with my good friend Eric, who I hadn't seen in several years.
As soon as I saw Eric, I immediately KNEW that something was different about him.
Something had changed.
He was an entirely different person.
But…
Before I tell you what it was, I need to give you some background.
I've known Eric for quite a few years now. Our friendship goes all the way back to when the two of us used to own our cleaning and restoration companies.
Each of us have since sold those businesses, so we could move on to bigger and better things.
Eric had built his business up to the millyun-dollar a year point, with the sole intention of selling it – and retiring at a young age.
Once he'd sold his business, his dream was to buy a sailboat and spend his time relaxing on the open water.
But once he achieved this goal, an interesting thing happened.
After a year or so of living what many people would consider a "dream life", without a care in the world, without having to worry about finances, without dealing with the hustle and bustle of the day to day world – Eric started to get restless.
It was about this time that he sent me an email (from his sailboat).
In this email he expressed his big concern to me.
He said, "You know Kev, most people would die to be in my position right now.
I don't have to go to work.
I get to spend my time doing what I want to do, when I want to do it.
I don't have anyone to answer to.
And I'm living life COMPLETELY on my terms.
But the funny thing is, I feel like something is missing.
I've made this transition from successful entrepreneur to retiree, but I gotta say, it's just not all it's cracked up to be".
As soon as I heard this, I knew exactly what Eric was talking about.
I too have BIG dreams and goals, but retirement certainly ain't one of them.
Now…
You might be reading this and thinking to yourself, "Why in the heck wouldn't you want to retire Kev"?
That's a good question, and it brings to the purpose of my letter today.
Most people's ultimate goal is retirement.
They long for the day when they can finally quit working, take lots of time off and start enjoying life.
Only problem is, once they reach retirement (like Eric did), they find that it ain't all it's cracked up to be.
They find that they've got this "empty" feeling inside.
They feel like something's missing.
They feel like they're not an active member of society.
Now…
Before you think that I'm against retirement, let me point out - by most people's definition, I'm already retired.
The day I sold my cleaning and restoration company - on April 19, 2004 – was the day I retired.
Since then, I haven't "worked" an hour.
Yes, you heard me right.
And the reason is simple. I now have a business that pays me for doing what I love.
When I roll out of bed each morning, I get to do exactly what I LOVE doing, with people I LOVE doing it with, and get paid more than I could ever imagine for having the time of my life.
After sharing this little experience with Eric, he realized what had been missing from his own life since he retired, and he's now getting ready to get back into the swing of things.
In fact, he's got a big project that he's excited to roll out.
Over the last couple years he's made some AMAZING discoveries.
A few of which he shared with Lisa and I.
And let me tell you, as he did, we were hanging on his every word (but that's a subject for another day).
The point I'm trying to make is this:
When you structure your business correctly, you'll feel like you're retired RIGHT NOW.
You'll have a new sense of peace about you.
You'll have a renewed sense of energy and excitement.
And nothing will stop you from succeeding – certainly not some "so-called recession" that's really nothing more than media B.S.
If this has piqued your interest, and you'd like to know more, then head on over to http://KevinTellsAll.com
When you do, I'll introduce you to the "7-Step-System" that's allowing me to SKYROCKET my income... in spite of the current mortgage meltdown, the plummeting stock market, AND the declining job market.
By the time we're finished, you'll be laughing in the face of this "so-called recession".
I look forward to speaking with you next Monday for this bonus training.
Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson
P.S. I'll be back tomorrow with some more secrets from Eric, but you can get started now by going here
