Those Lying Politicians
What I'm about to say is gonna ruffle a few feathers, but I've got to get this off my chest.
It's seems that every time I turn on the television (which ain't that often), all I see is these dog-on politicians who are trying to pull the wool over our eyes.
And this year, it's REALLY getting on my nerves.
Most of them are able to keep a smile on their face, as they lie through their teeth and make promises that they have absolutely no intention of keeping.
What really irks me is the fact that most of them have a previous track record that proves the decisions they make are in direct opposition to what "we the people" want.
For crying out loud, it wasn't that long ago that we voted on a local referendum in the Seattle area, and "we the people" made it perfectly clear that we were opposed to it.
So how do our local politicians respond?
They decide that our vote doesn't really count, and they initiate the referendum anyway.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
But – there is good news in all this chaos for us entrepreneurs who choose to study these politicians.
It's long been said, if you wanna be successful, look at what the masses are doing – then do the opposite.
Here's a couple big tips for you.
First, when you make promises, keep em.
When you tell people you're going to do something, stand true to your word.
Second, give people what they want.
Too many entrepreneurs go through their career with their own agenda. For them, it's all about what "I" want.
If you really want to succeed, you've got to give others "what THEY want".
That's what being a business owner is all about.
When you give enough other people what they want, you'll automatically get what you want.
And trust me, since most of your competitors act like politicians we've been talking about, it ain't gonna be too difficult for you to dominate the market and scoop up the lion's share of the profits.
And when you do, be sure to tell me the story of how you did it.
Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson
