What’s Your Story?
Last Wednesday Lisa and I went to Phoenix for the week, and we took Brock with us.
That’s a story in itself, but it’s a story for another day.
I was scheduled to speak at Joe Polish’s Rich Cleaner Conference and share some of my most successful marketing strategies with the 500+ people in attendance.
It was a humbling experience to say the least.
I can’t tell you how gratifying it was for the opportunity to have such a profound impact on so many lives.
As soon as I walked off the stage, I was greeted by countless people who wanted to thank me for making such a difference in their lives and giving them so many valuable tools to grow their businesses.
And if that weren’t enough, 23 people have sent me emails since the event.
In fact, here’s one that just came in this morning:
Hi Kevin,
You’re an incredible guy and I thank you for being so real. I would like to get more information on what you do. I’d like to get my daughter hooked up with your system. She is a net/computer junkie and can’t stand to have a punch a clock job. So, being the enabling father I am, this may be just what she needs in order to experience the freedom of self employment.
Also, I’m looking to start a project of my own, and would love it if you could spend sometime with me discussing web strategies where to start and the like. Basically I know nothing and respect you and your advice.
You and I chatted by the coffee bar. I’ve attached a photo so you’ll remember who I am, as I know you talked with many people last week. Being a fisherman yourself, I thought you would appreciate this one. You have to admit a 7lb trout is pretty cool.
I count it a privilege to have had the chance to meet you face to face. I’m also sure you are busy with family and work, so thank you in advance for taking time out to share with us at Joe’s seminar.

What’s interesting to note about Phil’s email (as well as the many others I’ve received) is that I made a connection with him.
And as a result, he now wants to invest in my products and services.
But…
Here’s what’s even MORE interesting.
I didn’t even talk about my products at Joe’s seminar.
I simply shared my story, and some of my marketing strategies.
Once again, this proves my point.
People don’t care about you, or what you’re selling, until they know that you’re a genuine person, who truly cares about them.
Once they know this, they’ll beat a path to your door.
They’ll be automatically attracted to you, and yes, they’ll want to invest in the products and services that you have to offer.
And make no doubt about it, in the current economic climate, this is more important than ever.
You MUST be able to create a powerful connection with people, and the way you do this is by sharing your story, being yourself, and letting your potential customer know that you empathize with them.
When you connect with people on a deeply emotional level and give them what they naturally want to buy, you won’t be able to stop the flow of munee – even if you wanted to.
I’m almost finished with a brand new video that’s going to show you how I do this, and how you can easily do the same.
This video will be released within the next week, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the big announcement.
